As the daughter of a hardware store owner, Sue Faitler learned at a young age that, with enough persistence, virtually anything can be tackled. A life-long native of Michigan, Sue received her M.S.W. from the University of Michigan and pursued a career in counseling, working with children and families for many years. In addition to counseling, Sue also combined one of her other passions and taught middle school math for over 15 years.
Her early work includes residential treatment counseling for emotionally disturbed boys. She has co-authored publications in the Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychology and was the Coordinator of an early childhood intervention education program in Brown City, Michigan.
Sue enjoys the outdoors and has proven her courage and endurance by joining her husband and children on multiple camping trips in the face of various forms of inclement weather!
