Shannon R. Benton

Shannon R. Benton, Speech-Language Pathologist, graduated from Baylor University with her undergraduate degree and University of Texas at Dallas with her Masters degree. She has been practicing since 2005 addressing a variety of disorders. She worked at the UTDallas/ Callier Center for 8 years treating various disorders; however, took a special interest in children with cochlear implants and children and adults who stutter. She ran various groups and camps for children who stutter. In 2009, Shannon founded the organization CLASP International, training graduate students and building a graduate level program in speech-language pathology in the country of Zambia in Africa. She ran a small private practice in her home for 3 years. She currently works for Globalteletherapy addressing students needs in various disabilities.
