Nechamah Cantor's dream of becoming an occupational therapist was born when she was on a trip to the library to research professions with a high school friend. The "OT kaleidoscope" of out-of-the-box creativity, hands-on skills, emotional interactions and compassion, all merged to beckon and capture Nechamah's imagination! Nechamah attended the selective and prestigious Occupational Therapy program at Towson University in Maryland and graduated with an OT degree with honors. While working as an OT in the Baltimore City school system, she also earned a Master of Arts in Teaching at Goucher College. For the past 18 years, Nechamah worked with students in special educational environments across the spectrum and around the world, honing her broad base of skills. A distinctively innovative therapeutic style has become her hallmark, characterized by resourcefulness and Individualized attention, with therapy geared to each student. Nechamah says: "Occupational therapy is my passion. Each session, I try to guide each student to be the best he/she can be. I utilize inventive practices in a positive atmosphere to unlock each student's potential and reach the goals we desire."
