Melissa Sharrino-Vail, M.S., CCC-SLP is a speech-language pathologist with Global Teletherapy. She specializes in working with the full age spectrum and a wide range of communication disorders. She also writes and edits research papers on a variety of topics related to ethical as well as evidence-based practices that relate to the development of training programs used amongst speech-language pathologists. Mrs. Sharrino-Vail currently works in a number of settings, including acute care, outpatient clinics, schools, research companies, and virtual academies. Mrs. Sharrino-Vail earned two bachelor degrees in Teachers of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped as well as music from Ithaca College and a master's of science in speech-language pathology from Syracuse University. She has spent 16 years working with adolescents and adults diagnosed with neurological disorders as well as 10 years with children in early intervention, schools, home care, and online settings.
