Melissa Cleveland

M.S., OTR/L

Registered occupational therapist, Melissa Cleveland M.S., OTR/L, earned a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy and a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Western Michigan University. She is nationally certified and is licensed in Florida, Michigan, North Carolina, and South Carolina. Melissa has been trained in Handwriting Without Tears and Keyboarding Without Tears. She has fourteen years of clinical experience, primarily specializing in school-based occupational therapy. Melissa has experience working with children with a variety of developmental diagnoses such as Cerebral Palsy, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and Down Syndrome. She enjoys helping students maximize their independence and realize their potential. Melissa has two children, a husband, and two furry pets. She and her family have recently relocated to the greater Charlotte area from Florida. When not working, Melissa enjoys spending time with family and friends, hiking, exercising, and exploring her new terrain.
