Martha has been worked in the educational field for the past 16 years. She has been a teacher in the classroom as well as a school counselor in multiple educational settings. She received her Master's in Secondary Education in the Arts of Teaching at Western New Mexico University and a Master's in Education with an emphasis in School Counseling at the University of the Southwest. She has worked with both children and adults, but enjoys working with students and families with special needs. Martha has also worked in the capacity as a transition specialist, working with students as they develop plans to transition from school to work in various programs.
Martha has four children and enjoys surrounding herself with her family. She spends much of her free time with quilting, staying active, coaching and watching sports.
