Lesley Geyer

Lesley has an undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania and her advanced master's degree in OT from New York University, has been a pediatric OT for over 35 years, and still loves what she does! Her experience includes managing OT programs at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, overseeing school contracts for OT, PT and Speech Language Therapy services in two private practices, and several positions serving children in varied school settings. In addition to her work as an OT, Lesley serves on the Board of Directors for the Pennsylvania Tourette Syndrome Alliance.

Lesley is certified to administer the Sensory Integration and Praxis Tests and is a frequent lecturer at the local and national level on topics related to occupational therapy in pediatrics, disability legislation, and Tourette syndrome. Lesley has published a number of journal articles and book chapters on topics related to children with disabilities. Lesley has mentored many pediatric OTs over the years and has a passion for teaching and helping other therapists enhance their skills.

Lesley and her husband have two adult children and share their time between homes in NE Pennsylvania and Ft. Myers Florida. Their four retired racing Greyhounds and four cats all travel with them between Pennsylvania and Florida. In her free time, Lesley enjoys gardening, kayaking, hiking, biking and cooking.
