Chassidy earned her Bachelor of Science in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology from the
University of Texas at Dallas and her Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology from Texas
Woman’s University where she was a member of several National Honor Societies. She served as an
officer for the UTD chapter of the National Student Speech Language Hearing Association. Chassidy
worked as a graduate clinician in various settings including rehabs, skilled nursing facilities, and schools.
Since completing her graduate work in 2015 she has gained experience in pediatric populations as well
as adult populations. She currently works part time for Global Teletherapy as a teletherapist, as well as
in a home health setting as an evaluation specialist, and for a major hospital in her area. She enjoys
working with all populations but pediatrics is where her passion lies. Chassidy is new to teletherapy but
is enjoying the challenge of a new setting and the reward of finding ways to help children find new and
unique ways to communicate. Chassidy is certified by the American Speech-Language- Hearing
Association (ASHA) and holds licenses to practice speech language pathology in Texas, Georgia,
California, and Wisconsin.
Chassidy currently resides in Texas with her two boys, her husband, and their dog Max. She enjoys
reading, exercising, and spending time with friends and family.
