Audrey Litts grew up and still lives in South Haven, Michigan with her husband and two young sons. She received her Masters in Social Work from Western Michigan University and has always enjoyed working in schools as a school social worker on a part-time and substitute basis. Audrey spent four years as the Executive Director of a non-profit youth organization that provides out-of-school time programming to over 600 children in three school districts in Van Buren County. She is now the owner of Thriveworks Counseling in Grand Rapids and oversees the business along with several therapists.
Audrey believes strongly in treating all children and clients as individuals, as well as looking all of the varying factors that affect their ability to do well in school, form positive relationships and develop appropriate coping skills. Audrey is also a foster parent and has raised two teenage siblings of her own, so she has a unique understanding and perspective on working with children and teens who are struggling or going through difficult circumstances.
