Alisa Heigl Jones


Alisa Heigl Jones, MS, CCC-SLP, is a speech/language pathologist licensed in New York and Michigan. Alisa lives in the Catskill Mountain/Hudson River Valley region of NY state, where she sees clients face-to-face in homecare, subacute rehab and skilled nursing facilities. She is also working with school-age children in MI and NY through Global Teletherapy. Alisa obtained her BA at the University of Pittsburgh in 1987, her MS in Speech/Language Pathology at SUNY College at New Paltz in 1992, and her ASHA CCC's in 1993. Alisa has worked with a wide range of clients in her career, spanning all ages (Early Intervention to geriatrics) and areas of practice (language, articulation, voice, fluency, social pragmatics, dysphagia, cognition). She even returned to her alma mater for a few years (2013-2017) to supervise and teach students in the department of Communication Disorders and Speech/Language Pathology at SUNY College at New Paltz as an adjunct professor. Alisa loves helping people from all walks of life improve their ability to communicate, and considers what she does not just a job, but a calling.
